What's on Emma's Bench? A Sankyo CF401 Rosa Flute

Currently on my bench is a beautiful Sankyo Flute! It's handmade, solid silver body, rose gold clad, open holes and inline G. This instrument has an incredibly rich and powerful sound with a lot of edge to it. It also comes equipped with Sankyo's NEL which allows high E's to speak more easily.

Sankyo was started in 1968 in a garage by three humble friends and a shared dream. "The Sankyo name can be divided into two Japanese words: SAN+KYO, where SAN means “three” and KYO means “hibiki” which translates to “sound.” Thus, the “three sounds” is our foundation and represents our three founders and their pursuit of the essence of music: the intangible connections between craftsman–musician–audience."
